Henryetta Foss "Tooty" Hager, retired owner of the Osander P.O. store at Kilohana Square in Honolulu in the 1970s and '80s, died April 22 in Bend, Ore. She was 80.

She was a longtime member of the Garden Club of Honolulu and following the 1992 death of her husband, Richard, an insurance executive, she was a volunteer gardener with the Waimea Outdoor Circle on the Big Island.

She is survived by son Sam Hager, daughter Shannon Bauhofer and three granddaughters.

Memorial plantings of ohia trees will take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Waimea Nature Park and 5 p.m. at the North Hawaii Community Hospital. A celebration of her life will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the home of Niall and Pegi Scully of Waimea.
