Coralie Chun Matayoshi, center, chief executive officer of the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross, shared hostess duties with Tertia Freas, left, and Joey Proffitt Harris as the Red Cross presented "Tea," a fundraiser featuring exotic teas, light delicacies and a Chanel fashion show, at the Halekulani May 7. Many of the women who attended wore hats as women did years ago when attending formal "high teas"; Harris is wearing a vintage Christian LaCroix design she found in Hong Kong. "Tea" raised more then $60,000 for the Hawaii Red Cross.

BASIC CHANEL:

Brielle modeled an eye-catching short-sleeved black lambskin jacket and black lambskin biker shorts. A natural straw Panama hat with a jersey chain and camellia accent, and white stiletto heel boots with black trim, completed the sporty go-anywhere ensemble.

ENJOYING THE SHOW:

Nanna Bradford, left, and Neva Rego had seats up front for the fashion show. Rego was particularly impressed by the work of Chanel model Emily Dudley, a family friend.

WOMEN WITH HATS:

Stylish Marie Yoshimura, left, and Kumi Iseki epitomized the classic principle of "less is more" with their simple yet elegant hats.

A TIMELESS LOOK:

Paulina Cutter utilized the creations of several prestigious design houses in assembling this memorable ensemble for "Tea." Cutter's low-cut, belted orange dress is "vintage Yves St. Laurent," her shoes are by Giusseppi Zanotti and her handbag is Louis Vuitton. New fashions are fun, Cutter said, "but classic items are always in

fashion."

TWO GOOD MEN:

Fashion experts Kensei, left, and Dale Young, two of the few men who attended the party, were fashionably dressed as usual. The necklace that Kensei donated to the Red Cross for sale as a fundraising item -- three strands of amethysts and 14-karat gold -- was one of the most dazzling items available in the silent auction.

TALKING FASHION WITH JORDAN:

Chanel models Johnelle Anderson, left, and Emily Dudley talked with Jordan Segundo outside the ballroom after the fashion show. He told them about the things he's working on. They piqued his interest in Chanel.
