The show included the contemporary dance piece "Monkey and the Waterfall," choreographed and performed by Yukie Shiroma with Ben Moffat. "This is about relationships," said kumu hula Michael Lanakila Casupang during the introduction to the dance. "To ponder if you give other people a chance, something really wonderful can come out of it." Shiroma is the outgoing director of dance for Mid-Pac.
