Halau I Ka Wekiu danced in the mist yesterday at Puu Puai overlooking Kilauea Iki, preparing for the Merrie Monarch hula festival beginning today in Hilo. Following their dance, the halau took a group picture; however, some members fell back. Shown are Kiara Wheeler, left, Hoku Chong, Celeste Van Treese Osaki, Kim Agena, Monica Wong and Toni Romias.
