QUARTER FINALISTS
Give us your 2 cents on Hawaii's 2-bit coin

Never mind that the U.S. Mint will design Hawaii's state quarter -- we want to have our say about the image that will represent our islands in metallic form. The Star-Bulletin's "Quarter Finalist" competition has drawn hundreds of votes in just the first few days, and a week of voting remains.
The ballot -- showing 12 coins designed by our readers -- will be published once more, in Sunday's Today section.
To express your opinion, cut out the ballot, mark your three top choices and get it to us by next Friday.

Plant show highlights prize anthuriums
Just in time for Easter Sunday, the Anthurium Society presents its 26th annual plant show and sale this weekend at Ward Warehouse, on the corner of Ware Avenue and Ala Moana Boulevard.
Floral arrangements, haku leis, floral leis, corsages and a variety of plants will be available for purchase and make a great gift for an Easter brunch host or for that special someone.
Prize anthuriums will be on display 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, with workshops conducted 10 a.m. each day on species horticulture.
Admission and parking are free.
