» Ka Loko Dam owner James Pflueger said he never saw a concrete spillway at the dam. A
Page A1 headline in yesterday's early edition incorrectly reported that he said Ka Loko had no spillway. In fact, Pflueger said there was a grassy low area near the dam that he believes is the spillway.
» Gov. Linda Lingle is asking for presidential disaster declaration to help Hawaii recover from storm damage estimated at $50 million. A story on Page A6 in yesterday's morning edition incorrectly stated that Lingle was asking for $50 million.
» The state Supreme Court affirmed a lower court ruling denying the use of the confession of Pali Golf Course shooting suspect Rodney Joseph because he was denied his constitutional right against self-incrimination. A Page A4 article on April 4 incorrectly reported that Cliff Hunt, attorney for another suspect in the shooting, Kevin Gonsalves, said the high court disallowed the confession because the attorney representing Joseph at the time was ineffective.
