Crater Celebration hana hou
"CONGRATULATIONS!"
JOHN BERGER / JBERGER@STARBULLETIN.COM
Oldies 107.9 deejay Ken Hutchison, right, celebrated with Diamond Head Crater Festival promoters Mark Mellick, left, Mellick's son, Kyle and Ron Gibson after the show went off without any major incidents, and with no significant rain, on Saturday. Yvonne Elliman was an early favorite, and WAR also got good reviews from concert-goers. Linda Ronstadt skipped most of the songs she should have done, but Steve Miller's two-hour set included all his hits and more. Hutchison said that being the emcee of a crater festival was a dream come true.
