U.S. Marines congregated yesterday on a railing of the USS Pearl Harbor, one of three ships from Expeditionary Strike Group One, which is visiting Pearl Harbor en route to its home port in San Diego. The group is returning from a six-month deployment in Iraq, Egypt, the Persian Gulf and the Philippines.

Tim Catinella got an autograph yesterday from Atlanta's DeAngelo Hall, who won the fastest-man race at the Pro Bowl skills challenge, held at the Ihilani Resort. Activities included a flag football game with ex-NFL players, and players' skills were put to the test in categories like strongest man, best hands, fastest man and passing skills.
