Hawaii Plantation Village volunteer Gary Tokuda showed Sue Kuo, John Kuo and Stacey Chiu how to spin a bottle cap with a length of string on Saturday. The toy, known as a buzz saw, was once popular with plantation children since it was simple to make and inexpensive. The "Plantation Days" event takes place the first Saturday of every month, each month highlighting a different ethic group that lived and worked on plantations in the early 1900s.
