Movies opening Friday:
"Something New": A romantic comedy about finding love where it's least expected. Sanaa Lathan plays a Los Angeles career woman who personal life is un-fulfulling. After meeting a handsome and free-spirited landscape architect on a blind date, her life is thrown into a tizzy. Simon Baker, Blair Underwood, Alfre Woodard, Mike Epps and Donald Faison co-star. (PG-13)
"When a Stranger Calls": This remake of the 1979 horror-thriller is about a teenage baby sitter who is terrorized by a stranger who calls, asking, "Have you checked the children lately?" And when she notifies the police, they tell her that the calls are coming from inside the house. (PG-13)
