Campbell fights off Radford for OIA West win

Mike Makinano scored 18 points and Ryan Hayes had 16 as Campbell overcame a late Radford charge to hold on for the 55-48 Oahu Interscholastic Association West basketball victory.

Tristan Sealy added 10 points as the Sabers improved to 6-1. Matt Alofaituli scored 12 of his team-high 14 points in the second half, but it wasn't enough to make up the host Rams' 13-point halftime deficit. Garry Satterwhite added 12 points for the Rams, who fell to 5-3.

Ken Moses nailed five 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 29 points as the Trojans remained undefeated by routing the Bulldogs.

A.J. Clark added 16 points and Donovan Olmos had 12 for the Trojans, who nailed 11 3-pointers.

Marc Nacapuy had 12 points and Kyle Kinney poured in 10 to lead Waialua.

Kennedy Orteza scored 14 points to lift the Mules over the Marauders.

Down by two entering the third quarter, Leilehua outscored Waipahu 34-24, led by Orteza's two 3-pointers and four free throws.

Rowel Rivera posted a game-high 16 points in the loss.

Four Hurricanes contributed double-digit performances as Kapolei handled the Seariders.

Keoki Lapina, Po'okela Ahmad and Brad Padayao each scored 12 points, and Jerrome Figueroa added 10 to lead the Hurricanes to their fourth win of the season.

Junior Faliuga posted a game-high 13 points for the Seariders.
