Braeden Freitas, 7, and his sister, Megan Freitas, 9, helped their parents, Mark and Jill Freitas, choose a Christmas tree yesterday at a Home Depot. The family eventually chose the tree being held by Megan. Noble firs 6 to 7 feet tall were selling for $49.88.

Children from the Early Education Center yesterday walked past the figures of Santa and Mrs. Claus which were to be unloaded from a flatbed truck for display at Honolulu Hale. The Honolulu City Lights display kicks off Saturday.
