Benefits conference coming to Waikiki

Some 6,400 people will converge on the Hawaii Convention Center Nov. 13-16 for an annual U.S. employee benefits conference.
The meeting of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans will include speeches on health and welfare, pensions, fiduciary responsibility and retirement security.
Country music star Naomi Judd will deliver a keynote speech on health-care reform.
The foundation has a total membership of 35,000 people.
