Gail Kajiyama of the Honolulu Fukushima Bon Dance Club performed the yagi bushi, or "towel dance," Sunday at the East-West Center on the University of Hawaii campus. The dance was part of the "Japanese Temple Architecture in Hawaii" art exhibit, which is on display at the East-West Gallery through Oct. 14.

The fish were biting yesterday near Haleiwa Boat Harbor, where Jason Olayon pulled up a tiny barracuda, a species that can be dangerous to swimmers when large but makes for good eating when small.
