Judge Ezra has throat
U.S. District Judge David Ezra underwent surgery this week for a "benign nodule" in his throat, he said Thursday.
He also said he had been undergoing treatment for throat cancer.
During court proceedings for former Unity House Inc. President Tony Rutledge and his son Aaron, Ezra said he had been advised by doctors not to overuse his voice.
He said he checked into the Queen's Medical Center on Tuesday for the operation.
