Beres Hammond Concert Postponed

The Beres Hammond/Marcia Griffiths/Jimmy Cozier interisland reggae tour that was supposed to have started July 21 at Kapono's has been postponed due to what promoters are saying was "a last-minute flight conflict."

Those who have able purchased tickets may get their refunds at the point of purchase. Honolulu, Hilo and Kauai online and charge-by-phone customers must call Ticketmaster at 877-750-4400. Maui customers should call 808-242-7469 for details.

It's taken Living Room promoters all year to get him out here, but Japanese DJ Osamu M (above) is finally signed to spin in Paradise.

He'll be the featured guest at "Speakeasy Saturdays" this week, with local DJs Akio and Archangel scheduled to open.

The party is also a kickoff for "Weekend in Hawaii," a new Internet radio show that will broadcast every Saturday at noon on www.etn.fm.
