Wasabi-mayo
gives salmon kick

These dishes were prepared by Kirk Matthews and Trini Kaupuiki of KHON news on "Hawaii's Kitchen" Sunday. The show airs at 5:30 p.m. on KHON/Fox.

Easy Salmon

1 lemon
1 salmon fillet
1 cup Yoshida Gourmet sauce (original flavor)
Furikaki, to taste
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1-1/2 teaspoons wasabi

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Squeeze lemon juice over fish. Place in baking pan and cover with Yoshida sauce. Sprinkle with furikake.

Combine mayonnaise and wasabi in bowl. Spoon mixture into a plastic sandwich bag. Cut corner of bag and squeeze mayonnaise mixture onto fish. Bake 20 minutes.
