Edward Henry "Ed" Bergman, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard welder, died in Hale Nani Rehabilitation and Nursing Centre. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sister Mildred Billeter, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Committal services: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Donato "Danny" Sarajina, 63, of Ewa Beach, a retired Navy Public Works Center employee, died in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by sons Daniel, Darren and Dean; daughters Danette Sarajina and Anuhea Borengasser; brother Felicicisimo "Reno"; sisters Barbara Sambueno, Jovita McFadden, Esperanza "Espy" Anderson and Shirley Ann Perry; and 11 grandchildren. Ida Mae Uilani Simmons, 44, of Kailua-Kona, a homemaker, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Mervin; daughters Michelle Maumau, Nani Watan, Serina Basque, Curly Kay-Malina and Xanadu, Mervlyn and Miracle Simmons; mother Victoria Medeiros; brothers John and Duane Medeiros; sister Johnnalynn Kaiawe; hanai sister Kimberly Tafolla; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kona 1st Ward, Kailua-Kona. Services: noon Saturday at the church. Call after 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park, Holualoa. A fellowship and luncheon will be held at the Church Cultural Hall. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.

Irmgard Evelyn Soares Santos Smith, 95, of Kaneohe, former owner of Manufacture Shoe Store, died in Kaneohe. She was born in San Francisco. She is survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services held. Scattering of ashes in San Francisco at a later date.
