Friday and Saturday
The Living Room's One-Year Anniversary, 10 p.m. at The Living Room. Cover: $8. Call 538-3808.Despite some initial doubt that Fisherman's Wharf could be turned into a successful nightspot, The Living Room celebrates one year of parties this weekend.
In honor of the milestone, there will be no cover and an open bar from 10 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Friday's "The Next Level" caters to the hip-hop crowd, while "Speakeasy Saturdays" is for the house heads. Check the listing at left for a full rundown of The Living Room's weekly events.
Sunday
"The Chop Suey Comedy Show," 8 p.m. at Jackie's Kitchen. Cover: $10. Call 943-2426.Stand-up comedy makes it into another venue starting this weekend, as "The Chop Suey Comedy Show" debuts Sunday before Jackie Chan's weekly "Dragon Room" party. Paul Ogata (above) will perform alongside Stan Egi, Shawn Felipe, and Elroy; Gerard Elmore will host.
