Congratulations go out to Hawaiian chanter James Ka'upena Wong of Waianae for being one of the 12 recipients of the 2005 National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship; and Habitat for Sri Lanka, a team of students from the East-West Center Asia Pacific Leadership program and the University of Hawaii, for raising $10,300 to assist in rebuilding housing in the tsunami-devastated country. The students will work alongside villagers to build houses for homeless families in Sri Lanka ...
