SUNWAY SITS IN: Dave Toma, left, and Denny Miyasato welcomed Sunway as their special late-night guest vocalist when their band, Edgewater, played the new Red Lion University (formerly Bedroc Bar & Grill) on Tuesday. Sunway -- she says its her real birthname -- did a great job singing commercial hard-rock arrangements of "You Oughta Know" and "All Right Now." Edgewater added a fresh alt-rock reworking of "Love The One You're With." Edgewater plays the Brew Moon tonight.

WHO NEEDS A CROWD?: Mel Cambra and Joshua Gonzalez didn't need a crowd around them to enjoy the weekly Pussycat Lounge party at the Wave Waikiki on Tuesday. For a while they had the club almost to themselves -- and loved it!

"UNLEASHED" IS OK: Spence, left, DJ Skoobz, Lindsey Chun-Hori and Andrew Marshall gave "Unleashed" a good review after previewing the Jet Li/Morgan Freeman film at Dole Cannery on Wednesday. Skoobs was surprised by the comic elements. Marshall said Li is taking "a step up from his other roles." "Unleashed" opens today.
