Blomberg does it all
to take down Kailua

Andrew Blomberg hit a two-run home run over the left-field fence and pitched a six-hitter as Moanalua rallied past Kailua 8-7.

The Surfriders took a 2-0 lead after the top of the first inning, but the Menehunes scored three runs in the bottom of the first.

Blomberg went 3-for-4 and struck out five batters. Preston Nakata went 2-3 with a double for Kailua.

Trevor Teraoka scored the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning on a wild pitch as the Falcons came back from a 7-4 deficit by scoring four runs in the final three innings.

Clayton Uyechi pitched and hit the Seasiders to a win over Na Alii.

Aiea pitcher Cody Aquino and Uyechi squared off in a duel that yielded just three hits from both teams combined.

But Uyechi broke the scoreless game in the fourth inning, driving in the lone run with a double. He also pitched the shutout, giving up just one hit and one walk while fanning nine.

Aquino struck out six in seven innings, giving up two hits, no walks and a run.
