Wong leads undefeated
Rough Riders at plate
and on the mound

Roosevelt took an early four-run lead on its way to a 9-5 win over McKinley that kept the Rough Riders undefeated.

Nicholas Wong picked up the win for the Rough Riders, and also went 4-for-5 with a triple.

Keoni Manago batted 3-for-4 with a triple for Roosevelt, which led 4-1 in the first inning.

Down 9-1, the Tigers closed the gap with three base hits that helped them to score four runs in the fifth inning.

Chance Daskauskos struck out nine batters in four innings of work to lead the Menehunes to a lopsided win over the Bulldogs.

The Menehunes started their offensive onslaught right away, with Pete Arakawa hitting a leadoff home run to center field. Arakawa finished 2-for-3, scoring three runs.

Daskauskos allowed one hit and combined with reliever Markus Miyashiro for 11 strikeouts.
