Volunteer Marvince Benjamin, 9, surveyed the mound of stuffed animals during the Show You Care ... Share a Bear 8th Annual Teddy Bear Round-Up at Pearlridge Center yesterday. The event, part of a month-long observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month, brought in 6,121 stuffed animals to be distributed to family shelters, children's hospitals and other organizations that assist families and children in crisis.
