Golf tourney will
support troops

Proceeds from the third annual Mid-Pacific Country Club golf tournament will go to buying phone cards for Hawaii's citizen soldiers.
"Operation Phone Home" will be held on May 23.
Those interested in participating are urged to sign up early as the tournament is limited to 144 entries.
The day will kick off with lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. An awards program, dinner and check presentation will follow about 5 p.m.
