‘Oahu Dines’ benefits

It always feels good to spend a night out and know you're helping a good cause.
The Life Foundation teams up with 19 restaurants tomorrow for "Oahu Dines," with a portion of the proceeds donated to Hawaii's oldest and largest AIDS organization. Need another reason to support this event? A number of local celebrities will be eating with fans.
KCCN FM-100's Billy V will be at Big City Diner at 1 p.m. for lunch, while morning show partner Pipi meets Grammy Award-winning musician Jeff Peterson for dinner at Chai's Island Bistro at 7 p.m. Lina Girl will dine with Bruddah Sam at Big City Diner at 7:30 p.m.
Volcano Joe's will also participate, featuring live music by Nethermind, Jesse Rowell and Steve McClellan starting at 2:30 p.m. Miss Hawaii 2004 Olena Rubin will be there from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., following lunch at Tiki's Grill and Bar ...
AFTER DINNER, stay out for more fun at Venus Nightclub that will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Doors open at 10 p.m. tomorrow for the 21-and-over crowd, with every penny of the $5 cover going to the organization. You'll also have a chance to learn about the society's mission, different types of blood cancers and what you can do to help.
