HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PUSSYCATS!: Wave Waikiki cashier Heather Colletto, left, had a lot of company behind the register as the club celebrated the 7th anniversary of the weekly Pussycat Lounge party on Tuesday. Squeezing in with her were Maleko of Star 101.9, celebrity percussionist Ravi, Matty "Matty Boy" Hazelgrove, go-go dancer Summer Jensen, Pussycat Lounge promoter Flash Hansen, Christa, DJ Mei Lwun and Rosie Frangi. Ravi and Mei Lwun played for the party. Maleko emceed it.

MODERN DANCE: Kaleihikina Akaka, right, was one of the first to respond to the music of DJ Mei Lwun at Pussycat Junkies, a new monthy event presented by Pussycat Productions and Vertical Junkies at Compadres, on Wednesday. Her friend, Sarah Rickard, enjoyed the show.
