» Philip White Architects has hired Stacey Shepard and Tonya Dale as full-time architectural interns. They will be responsible for drafting, designing and modeling for select residential and commercial projects. Shepard previously worked for the Kaneohe firm AKTA Ltd. Dale has over 10 years of experience.

» The East-West Center has appointed Carol Fox strategic planning and partnerships director. She will be responsible for helping to implement strategic directions by developing partnerships, securing major resources and positioning the center for long-term success. She previously served as special assistant to the director of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

» KHNL/KFVE-TV has appointed Shannon Lange general sales manager. She most recently served as the national sales manger of WOIO-TV in Cleveland.

» Ko Olina Resort & Marina has appointed Michael Nelson executive vice president and chief operating officer. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort operations while managing and maintaining relationships. He previously served as the producer of the resort's annual Hawaii Boat Show and Ocean Expo.

» Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties has appointed Scott Bradley the National Association of Realtors' region 13 vice president. He will be responsible for representing both Hawaii and California on the national level.

» The Children's Alliance of Hawaii Inc., a nonprofit that provides assistance to Oahu's physically and sexually abused children, has announced its 2005 officers: Joe Fadrowsky, chairman; Allen Kubota, first vice chairman; Kathleen Morimoto, second vice chairwoman; C. Scott Wo, treasurer; Tom Barlow, secretary-nominee; Mary Worrall, immediate past chairwoman.
