Friday, March 25"Reggae Dancehall Unity Bashment" at Mercury, 9 p.m. Cover: $10. 21+King Productions presents the first installment of its new party at Mercury, featuring some of Oahu's heavy hitters on the local reggae scene. Representatives from Empire Sound, Positive Regime, Pacific Sounds Outernational and King Black Super Power will serve up platters alongside DJ El Nino. Also, DJ Cheye will represent the Virgin Islands' Green Lion crew with a special guest set. Mercury is located on Chaplain Lane near Fort Street Mall. Call 228-2486.
Saturday, March 26Soul Cafe at Esprit Nightclub, 9:30 p.m. Cover: $10. 21+The beachfront nightspot in the Sheraton Waikiki welcomes a new house band this weekend. Comprised of Claudia Da Vazquez, Kadai Ohuchi, Gerard Lawson, Edward Protho and Joe Fausett, Soul Cafe performs a wide range of cover tunes from the '70s to the present. The show will open with music from Kick Pins; comedian Kaleo Pilanca (above) will host. Call 922-4422.
