"The Life of Bob Marley" at the Doris Duke Theatre, 5 p.m. Tickets: $7.

Acclaimed writer, musician and historian Roger Steffens presents an intimate look into the life of reggae legend Bob Marley.

Mixing unreleased footage from interviews and concerts before the entertainer died in 1981, Steffens will share what it was like to be a personal friend of Marley as he achieved worldwide recognition.
