John Travolta, left, and Uma Thurman: The two starred in "Pulp Fiction" and reunite for "Be Cool."

» "Be Cool": The follow-up to 1995's "Get Shorty," based on Elmore Leonard's novel about mobsters and music stars, also marks the on-screen reunion of John Travolta and his "Pulp Fiction" co-star Uma Thurman. Travolta reprises his role as Mafia thug-cum-movie producer Chili Palmer, who teams with a widow/record exec (Thurman) to promote a struggling singer (Christina Milian). Along the way, they're pursued by the Russian mafia and meet sundry stars and scoundrels played by Harvey Keitel, Vince Vaughn, Cedric the Entertainer, The Rock, OutKast's Andre 3000 and Aerosmith. (PG-13)

» "The Jacket": Adrien Brody plays an accused murderer and war veteran who lands in an asylum. A well-meaning doctor puts him on a heavy course of experimental drugs, restrains him in a jacketlike device and locks him in a drawer for bodies in the basement morgue. The process sends him on a journey into the future, where he witnesses his death (but not who did it or how) in four days. The question is, Can the woman he meets in the future (played by Keira Knightley) save him? (R)

» "Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior": Tony Jaa plays a young Thai villager versed in the martial art Muay Thai, who battles to retrieve the head of a sacred Buddha from seedy Bangkok. (R)

» "The Pacifier": Action star Vin Diesel makes his first family film, playing a former Navy SEAL assigned to protect the five rowdy kids of an assassinated government scientist. (PG)
