"Blend"

The Nitelite crew takes over Okonumi Cuisine Kai on Friday night, with special guest DJ Peter Christianson.

Christianson is one half of the Seattle-based Lawnchair Generals; partner Carlos Mendoza won't be making the trip. The two have released deep house favorites like 2001's "The Great Escape" and last year's "Tell You Something" since first teaming up in 2000.

Nitelite resident DJs Reid, Eugene and Kawika will help keep "Blend" running smoothly; call 944-1555.

"The Big Bounce"

Help celebrate the release of a new album by Baba B (above). He'll play songs off "Squeeze Me Tease Me," released last month.

Other local artists scheduled to perform include Hot Rain, Inoa'ole. Justin and Aziel (who also has a new album, "Tha3olgy," out in stores).
