Attend 'Beauty School' for latest in skin care

Neiman Marcus opens its "Beauty School" event next Thursday with dozens of makeup artists lining up to show you how to update your face with the best in spring and summer cosmetics and skin-care products.

Try on the newest shades and learn about the latest products designed to help protect your skin.

Up for grabs for those who purchase $85 or more in cosmetics or fragrance is NM's gift of an exclusive tote in a pink jet-setter print for spring travels, whether you're headed to the cafe down the street or to Paris.

Goodies inside the tote include sample sizes of products including Gucci's Envy eau de toilette, Orlane Paris' eye contour cream, Acqua di Parma's Iris Nobile, Natura Bisse's Glyco Peel and Molton Brown's Heavenly Gingerlily bath and shower gel.

The event runs through March 9 in Cosmetics, Level One.

Jewelry show to benefit heart association

Eddie LeVian's fine jewelry collection will be featured 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Macy's Ala Moana, with a portion of sales benefiting the American Heart Association.

Pieces shown will include limited-edition, signed and numbered pieces in 14K and 18K gold and platinum, set with precious gemstones. LeVian will also feature his Deco Collection of designs inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 1920s.
