Window treatments
on the fast track
Panel Track from the Smith & Noble mail-order catalog is the newest option in window treatment. Best for covering patio doors or extra-large windows, they're available in a range of colors in canvas twill fabric or natural woven materials such as bamboo, flax or reed. The head-rail is installed on brackets mounted on the ceiling or wall. The cost for a 72-by-84-inch one-way slide in three panels of canvas is $441, plus shipping. Visit smithnoble.com or call 800-248-8888 for a catalog. Hartmann & Forbes offers a similar version at International Design Source in the Gentry Pacific Center through an interior designer.
