Katie Hansen scored three goals to lead the third-ranked Stanford water polo team to a 9-5 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation victory over Hawaii at Palo Alto, Calif., yesterday.

Also, rain washed out the season-opener for the Hawaii-Hilo softball team at the Mighty Grip Softball Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Vulcans will play Oklahoma Panhandle State, UC San Diego and host Grand Canyon today.
