Youngsters on an amusement ride screamed with delight yesterday at the Punahou Carnival, which continues today from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Punahou School. Parking on campus is limited, but paid parking is available at the Lutheran Church of Honolulu, Central Union Church, Maryknoll School and St. Clement's Episcopal Church.

Elija Paet, 6, of Ewa Beach got stuck yesterday inside a dancing lion's mouth at Fort Street Mall in Chinatown during the start of the annual Chinese New Year festival. The dancers, led by Matt Lynch, were part of a group of lion dancers from Ah's Shaolin Arts, also located at Fort Street Mall.
