Lingle gets
new analyst

Former state Rep. David Pendleton, who lost re-election, will serve as senior policy analyst on Gov. Linda Lingle's staff.

Pendleton served eight years representing Kailua and Kaneohe. During his two terms at the Legislature, he served as minority floor leader, minority whip and assistant minority leader.

Pendleton earned his law degree from the University of Southern California and is admitted to practice law in Hawaii and California. A former schoolteacher, he has also worked as a university administrator and pastor.
