A "Locks of Love" drive, in which cut hair is donated to provide hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under 18 with medical hair loss, was held yesterday at Maryknoll High School. Honolulu Community College instructor Jessica Kaniho measured Harold Tarumoto's hair, which she later said was almost 2 feet long. Five of Kaniho's students also donated their time to cut hair. Next to Kaniho, Annette Waiau from Keiki Kuts cut the hair of UH student Kim Tanaka. The event was organized by Maryknoll High School senior Kori Mijoas as part of her senior project.
