Shows benefit tsunami reliefThink globally, act locally: Isle residents can help raise money for the victims of the Indian Ocean tsunamis by supporting three upcoming events.The first takes place on Saturday at Coffee Talk, with Unity Crayons hosting an all-ages show that starts at 8 p.m. Black Square, Pimpbot, the Ex-Superheroes and 5th Freedom will perform; proceeds from the evening will be donated to the American Red Cross. Call 255-4662 ... On Sunday, Pipeline Cafe presents the "T.E.A.R. Concert," with all money collected going to the East-West Center's tsunami relief fund. Doors open at 4 p.m. at the club, and there will be complimentary pupus available until 7 p.m. General manager Jed Roa says the entertainment lineup hasn't been finalized yet, so any bands interested in performing should call him ASAP at 479-6004. And on Monday, some of Honolulu's top restaurants will team up with an A-list of local entertainers to raise money for the Red Cross's Hawaii Chapter. Tickets are $60 for the dinner party at Aloha Tower Marketplace, which will feature signature dishes from restaurants including Chai's Island Bistro, Donato's, Hy's Steak House, Keo's, Sansei, Side Street Inn, 3660 on the Rise, Alan Wong's and Diamond Head Grill. Seating begins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, and once guests will have the opportunity to enjoy live music by Henry Kapono, HAPA, the Brothers Cazimero, Maunalua, Na Palapalai, Jake Shimabukuro and Jerry Santos. AROUND TOWN: The 808 state continues to get recognition on a national level -- big up to Kicks Hawaii's Ian Ginoza and Eddy Haus for getting their limited-edition Aloha Dunk sneaker featured in the latest edition of Complex magazine ... Pro surfer Jon "Rosy" Rose is profiled in the same issue as he spends a typical day in paradise. Readers get to follow Rose as he hits on local girls, eats lunch on the North Shore, deposits some money in garter belts at Club Femme Nu and slides in VIP style at the W Honolulu ... And did you notice the Hawaii connection during former Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil's makeover on VH-1 last weekend?
