Dodge ball and dinner
mark celebrations

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas. The soldiers of Alpha Company spent Christmas Day enjoying each other's company. The day consisted of a blistering dodge ball tournament in the rain and a pretty good dinner arranged by the company executive officer. Thanks to Bravo Company for covering down on our missions. Alpha soldiers did the same for Bravo on Christmas Eve.

'Tis the season to be jolly, therefore I will roll up this week's activities in general. The battalion conducted a few raids, apprehending 46 possible enemies, three rockets, two roadside bombs and encountering one 500-person protest.

Other than the above and sporadic nightly gunfire, it was fairly quiet this week. I will keep it short and simple. Say a prayer not only for the soldiers, but for the families who wait at home. The soldiers of Alpha Company want to extend their warmest wishes for all Americans this holiday season.

Congrats to the University of Hawaii Warriors on Christmas Eve.

God bless and aloha.
