"Mr. Las Vegas" himself, Wayne Newton, makes a rare foray away from his showroom at the Stardust Resort and Casino to do a New Year's Eve show at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

One of the most successful entertainers in American history, Wayne Newton has performed live for more than 30 million people. As a six-year-old prodigy, he performed at the Grand Ole Opry Road Show, releasing his first record. Known for his headline act in the Las Vegas main showrooms, his first was at the Flamingo Hilton. In the new millennium, he signed one of the largest contracts in entertainment history with the Stardust.

The guys of Kona-born Pepper will be headlining their own bash that same night at the Blaisdell Arena, as part of their "Skullconut Bangers Ball Tour." With the success of "Ashes" and "Give It Up," touring on the Vans Warped Tour, and making appearances on the Fox Sports Network's extreme sports shows, the trio is one of Hawaii's bigger success stories on the national music scene.

Go Jimmy Go, with local faves Natural Vibrations and Black Square, will open the festivities.
