» "Meet the Fockers" -- The sequel to the 2000 hit "Meet the Parents" follows male nurse Greg Focker (Ben Stiller), his fiancˇe (Teri Polo) and his future in-laws, the Byrnes (Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner) to their visit to freewheeling "Focker Isle," the Florida-peninsula home of Bernie (Dustin Hoffman) and Roz (Barbra Streisand). He's a liberal former lawyer and she's a sex therapist to senior citizens -- and both drive the uptight Byrnes clan crazy. (PG-13)

» "The Aviator" -- Before he was famous for being a reclusive germaphobe, Howard Hughes was known for being a movie mogul, pursuer of actresses and, above all, a pioneering aviator. Martin Scorsese's epic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Hughes. (PG-13)

» "Darkness" -- A teenager (Anna Paquin) moves into a remote country house with her family, discovering the gloomy abode has a horrifying past that threatens to destroy the family. (R)

» "Fat Albert" -- Bill Cosby's classic '70s TV cartoon show comes to life when the characters escape leap from the tube into the modern world, much to Cosby's shock. (PG)

» "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" -- Wes Anderson's latest geek-chic comedy is about a Jacques Cousteau-esque oceanographer/filmmaker who is struggling to finish his latest film on the mysterious jaguar shark (a species that supposedly killed his partner). The cast includes Owen Wilson as an airline co-pilot who could be Zissou's son, Cate Blanchett as a reporter writing about Zissou, Anjelica Huston as his estranged wife, co-producer, Jeff Goldblum as a pompous rival and Willem Dafoe as the loyal crewmate.
