Jewish folk singer to
perform in Hawaii

Singer Robyn Helzner will perform in a concert of Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian and American Jewish folk music Dec. 26 at Temple Emanu-El, 2550 Pali Highway.

Helzner, who has released four albums of Jewish music, will be in Hawaii after performances in Beijing. A resident of Washington, D.C., she has performed in Europe, Asia and many mainland cities.

Joining her in the 7 p.m. performance will be her sister Rochelle Helzner, a cantor at Tikvat Israel Congregation in Rockville, Md.
