NO BURKAS FOR MALIA: Malia Song, left, dressed as a contempory All-American showgirl in a flourescent- pink cutaway dress, enjoyed the Piranha Room with comedian Gerard Elmore and Jane Loo. The Ocean Club chefs enhanced the "Big Apple" experience with big NYC-style hot dogs, sauerkraut, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, cheese cake, and fresh bananas flambé.

A BAD HAIR DAY?: Juliet Lighter caught up with Jason Ulep at Russell Tanoue's table and said she was wearing a hat because of "a bad hair day." Joey Caldarone's spirited rendition of "New York, New York" was the dramatic highlight of the party.

Augie and Lanai swapped name tags after the party got going. They're off to Las Vegas next week for a show at the California Hotel Dec. 8.
