102.7 Da Bomb marks
birthday at Pipeline

THe partying starts earlier this week in account of Thanksgiving. Biggest one of the night takes place at Pipeline Cafe, where 102.7 Da Bomb celebrates its fourth birthday starting at 9 p.m.

Flying out once again to be part of the fun is Los Angeles radio station Power 106's DJ E-Man, and take a look at the story to the left for more info on another artist making a special appearance tomorrow night ...

OVER AT Restaurant Row, island music fans will enjoy both the "Give Thanks" and "She Looks Good" parties at the Ocean Club and Philip Paolo's, respectively.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow for "Give Thanks," and if you bring a canned food item for the Hawaii Food Bank, you'll only have to pay half of the $10 cover charge. Natural Vibrations will perform.

Spend $10 more on admission to "She Looks Good," and you'll get to enjoy Ho'onu'a, B.E.T., Ten Feet, Koa'uka, O-Shen, Epic Session, One More Round and Ekolu playing on two stages. Call 531-8444 or 566-0644 ...

SATURDAY IS another big night, with two choices for reggae fans, a lingerie fashion show and another birthday party.

For the first time this decade, reggae icons Aswad return to Hawaii for the "Superstars of Reggae 2004 Tour" at the Waikiki Shell. They'll be joined by Barrington Levy and Yellowman, with the show getting underway at 6 p.m.

At Don Ho's Island Grill, Virgin Islands-based reggae act Bamb Station will play alongside Livitree, Melodious Solutions and The Ionz. Bring a donation for Toys for Tots between 9 and 11 p.m. and you'll save five bucks off the $15 cover charge.

Visit "Feng Shui" on Saturday, and you can check out some of Honolulu's hottest models strutting around in items from Lingerie Heaven. And over at the Wave Waikiki, Jack Law and the crew celebrate 24 years with a VIP party from 8 to 10 p.m. and Missing Dave playing afterwards ...

AND IF you've got the time (and hair) on Sunday, check out "Locks of Love" at Salon Bobbi & Guy at Ward Warehouse.

The salon will hold a hair-raiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, offering free haircuts to those donating at least 10 inches of hair, which will be used for cancer patients. Call 591-2899 for an appointment ...
