He is survived by sons Ferdimel H. and Joel, daughters Corazon A. Agarpao and Jacqueline T. Agpaoa, sister Placida Ganir and nine grandchildren. Genie Aroyan, 70, of Hilo, a Big Island Poultry clerical assistant, Genie's Kitchen gourmet cook/chef and president of the former Wheels Aweigh Publishing Co., died at home. She was born in Sheboygan, Wis. She is survived by sons John Simenz and Ron and John Aroyan; daughters Marianne Taylor and Linda Aroyan; brother William Roenitz; sister Vanda Pralle; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also was a waitress for the former Kona Inn, Kona Hilton, Kona Surf and Waiaka Lodge Hotels. She was born in Captain Cook, Hawaii.
