George Takei. Last Wednesday, the Government of Japan announced that Takei will receive the Order of the Rising Sun -- Gold Rays with Rosette today at a conferment ceremony being held in Tokyo. The recognition is for his contributions to the Japanese-American community and his efforts to promote Japan-United States relations. Takei returns to Honolulu this week to narrate the Honolulu Symphony's Veteran's Day concerts this weekend. ...

With three levels of interactive activities, I had a blast there with a friend and her boys, and after three hours (which flew by) the kids still didn't want to leave.
