Fiji-made film wins at festival"The Land Has Eyes," the first feature film set and shot on the Fiji islands and produced and directed by Jeannette Paulson Hereniko and husband Vilsoni Hereniko, respectively, won Best Dramatic Feature at Toronto's imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival.The just completed festival promotes, advances, and fosters emerging and established Canadian Aboriginal filmmakers and other media artists in an international context. The film tells the story of a young woman who clears her family name after it has been wrongly besmirched. She allows herself to be inspired by the mythical Warrior Woman.
