KSSK’s Perry and Price
gain in radio ratings
This summer's Arbitron radio ratings show the daily dominant duo of Michael W. Perry and Larry Price gaining more than two share points over last summer among listeners 12 and older.
The team, airing on both KSSK-FM 92.3 and AM 590, reaches nearly a quarter of the morning radio audience with a 23.7 share.
The No. 2 morning show, at KRTR-FM 96.3, garnered a 6.9 share, down from 7.3 last summer.
Longtime broadcaster Dan Cooke resigned from the show at the end of August, leaving the industry. He was later replaced by Chris Reiser and "Sista" Sherry Clifton.
The rest of the top-five morning shows are hosted by Brickwood Galuteria, chairman of the Hawaii Democratic Party, on KINE-FM 105.1; Billy VanOsdol, "Lina Girl" and "Pipi" on KCCN-FM 100.3 and Lanai and Augie on KDNN-FM 98.5.
