I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from Point Loma Nazarene University and have operated a carpet cleaning business for five years. Also, 11 years experience in the travel industry.

What would you do to combat the state's crystal methamphetamine abuse epidemic?

I would introduce tougher laws that would keep drug dealers behind bars longer. Drug treatment, prevention and education also need to be addressed to combat this problem.

What can the Legislature do to improve Oahu's traffic congestion?

For the short term, the Legislature should proceed with a ferry from Kalaeloa to downtown to alleviate traffic to and from Kapolei. For the long term, a bill to introduce a light rail system should be implemented.
